Vessel Modeling Samples

BBLOCKS:

This sample creates a panel model from several blocks. It is useful to get an idea of how the &surface Menu works.

DB102:

This sample generates a model of DB102.

JACKUP:

This sample generates a model of a three leg jackup. It uses the hull model generated by jh_gen sample then it uses macros to generated the legs. The super structure is added with pieces. The model contains sufficient detail to perform a stability analysis.

JH_GEN:

This sample generates a model of a three leg jh_gen.

SPAR:

This sample generates a model of a spar. The model has the outer shell and a compartment.

SSUB:

This sample generates a model of a semi-submersible.

TLP_BLD:

This sample generates a model of a tlp with circular columns and pontoons. The commands also show how to generate the outer shell as the body and three compartments.

PGEN_OPT:

This sample shows how the pgen options -both, -stbd, and -port generate the different portions of the y-z plane. This sample generates three model. A bow view of the three vessels is generated so that the user can see the differences in the models.

URSA:

This sample generates a model of the URSA tlp. It is defined parametrically so that it can be used for any of the "Shell" tlps.
