General Changes:

Plates:

The concept of structural plates has been extended, so the documentation has changed and they are referred to as "generalized plates". The goal of these changes was to make it easy to compute detailed stress distributions in a structure modeled with generalized plates and to define concave plates. The Disposition Menu has been changed so that one can now select columns by either a single number a pair of numbers seperated by a colon, or a selector for the name of the column. Also, the SCALE and SHIFT commands have been removed from the documentation (they are still available) and replaced with C_SCALE and C_SHIFT.

&ENV Changes:

RP2A Joints:

The Second Supplement to RP2A 21st edition changed the way joints are checked. By default, the "old" method is used. If, however, one specifies:
    JOINT -CODE API 21
Then the joints will be checked according to the "new" code. There are also predefined WJ and CJ SN curves specified in the new code as well as a method to include "stress improvement". Click here to see the documentation.
