To give the user a general idea of how one can utilize our products, we include numerous sample and test problems with each release. In addition to the required input, the output is also included so that it can be examined, and perhaps compared to results from your installation. In general, there are two input files for each test case. The file with a suffix of cif is a command file for the test, and the file with a suffix of dat contains the data itself. If you have a version of a product with limited capabilities, then some of these problems will not work, since they may have been designed to operate with a complete version. amount of computer time and output, and it may not be apparent what
is being accomplished in a given test.
