Printer Friendly Force Computation Tests Force Computation Tests

ADRIAN:

This test shows how to change the current direction and how to have MOSES report the drag on a tube.

CARL:

This test shows how to use a #TABLE.

COIN:

This test checks out the POINT_SUM, N_COINCIDENT command.

CURTIS:

This is a test of interpolating headings.

DSP_FFT:

This tests the computation of an FFT from a time sample. In addition, it tests the addition of an add column filter.

DSP_STAT:

This tests the computation of statistics of Fourier coefficients.

EDITST:

This test shows how a database can be altered in the MEDIT Menu.

GRDTST:

This is a test of using a wave grid.

GREG:

This is a test of the cull feature in the disposition menu.

HORGRD:

This is another test of a wave grid.

LATTUB:

This is a test of the \#TUBE command.

LDG_NAP1:

This is the first of two tests to check the attribute multiplier, here the multiplier is set to 1.

LDG_NAP3:

This is the first of two tests to check the attribute multiplier, here the multiplier is set to 3.

LODTST:

This test checks applying and reporting user defined load sets.

MARL:

This is a test of reporting the slam events with the &slam string function.

MGRTST:

This is a test of marine growth on elements.

MV_FOR:

This is a test the ability to change the location of force along with the element when the part is moved.

MVBOD:

This is a test of changing the activity status of bodies, parts and elements.

PLA_DRAG:

This is a test of drag computation for a plate. It shows the when the force computation is based on the entire area or the surface area.

PAR_BUOY:

This is a test of the emit command and several string functions. Parts of the string functions that are tested are &string, &part, and &body.

PLWBU:

This is a test showing how a plate increases in buoyancy as it is lowered into the water.

PRCTST:

This test checks the ability for a user to create a process from a sequency of equilibria.

SEA_CHK:

This test checks the -TIME options on &env and &status sea.

SPREAD_TIME:

This test checks the behavior of the -SPREAD option in the time domain.

T_WAVE:

This test checks the ability to generate a wave grid. It reports the trajectories for the same body in three waves that were generated with the wave grid.

TDRI:

This test checks the drift computate is changed with the a_mdrift command. It computes the total contstraint force on a simple barge.

TIDE:

This test checks the computation of forces using the -TIDE option on &env.

TUBE:

This test checks the ability to change the weight multiplier.

W_HEIG:

This test checks ability to calculate the wind force. Two bodies are defined: one with #area and one with piece generator. The wind force is calculated for different heights and different spectrums.

WVPLA:

This test checks wave load on plate elements.
