Lease Information:

Ultramarine has three types of software leases available:

perpetual lease
yearly lease
monthly lease (three to six month minimum)

With a perpetual lease an initial amount is paid, and then use the software for as long as you want. Maintenance includes updates of the program, minor enhancements and user support; this fee is optional. If you are satisfied with the system as is, then you do not need to pay the maintenance fee. Twelve months of maintenance is included with this lease.

A yearly lease allows you to use the program for a period of one year. The payment for this lease is yearly and maintenance is included. With this lease, Ultramarine will provide the most current version of the program available and you will receive any new versions which include minor enhancements.

Ultramarine also offers a monthly lease; however, there is also the option of a six month lease, for which the payment will be one half the current perpetual lease price. For periods between six months and one year the price will vary linearly.

Price Information:

The price for a lease depends on:

the number of users which can execute the program simultaneously
the capabilities one wants to have available
the type of machine on which it is mounted

Prices are normally quoted for a license mounted on a supported computer. If you wish to have the program available to more than one user at a time on the same subnet, then the lease price will be increased by the following factors:

for two users, factor by 1.5
for three users, factor by 2
for four users, factor by 2.5
for five or more users, factor by 3

Ultramarine allows for the option to lease only the capabilities which are currently needed. If at a later date additional capabilities are desired, they can be added at an incremental cost without leasing the entire system. Supported Computers:

Supported computers are defined as one of the following:

WINDOWS running on AMD/Intel X86
LINUX running on AMD/Intel X86Ā
LINUX running and AMD/Intel X86_64
SOLARIS running on AMD/Intel X86_64

For computers which do not meet our definition of supported, a price will be quoted for installation.
