Types of Leases:

1. a perpetual lease,
2. a yearly lease and
3. a monthly lease with a six month minimum.

With a perpetual lease, you pay an initial amount, then use the software for as long as you want. Maintenance includes updates of the program, minor enhancements and user support. This fee is optional. If you are satisfied with the system as is, then you do not need to pay the fee. Twelve months of maintenance is included with this lease.

A yearly lease is a license to use the program for a period of one year. The payment for this lease is yearly and maintenance is included. With this lease, Ultramarine will provide the most current version of the program available and you will receive any new versions which include minor enhancements.

Ultramarine offers what we call a monthly lease; however, no product will be leased for less than six months, for which the payment will be one half the current perpetual lease price. For periods between six months and one year, the price will vary linearly.

These leases give you the right to use the object code of the programs to perform selected tasks and they do not convey any marketing rights.

Prices of Leases:

• the number of users which can execute the program simultaneously,
• the capabilities one wants to have available, and
• the type of machine on which it is mounted.

• for two users, the factor is 1.5,
• for three users, the factor is 2,
• for four users, the factor is 2.5 and
• for five or more users, the factor is 3.

Ultramarine allows for the option to lease only the capabilities which are currently needed. If at a later date additional capabilities are desired, they can be added at an incremental cost without leasing the entire system. For our purposes, a supported computer is defined as one of the following:

• WINDOWS running on AMD/Intel X86
• LINUX running on AMD/Intel X86
• LINUX running on AMD/Intel X86_64
• SOLARIS running on AMD/Intel X86_64
• MAC OS X running on PowerPC
• MAC OS X running on Intel X86
